Terms of Service

Schutzhund — an internal content publishing tool operated by Syross Inc.

Effective date: September 18, 2026

1. About Schutzhund

Schutzhund is a private, internal software tool built and operated by Syross Inc, a federally incorporated Canadian company based in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Syross Inc uses Schutzhund to plan, review, schedule, and publish content to social media accounts that Syross Inc itself owns and operates, including accounts for its own brands such as Trucker's Pride.

Schutzhund is not a commercial product. It is not offered, sold, licensed, or made available to the public or to any third party. There is no public sign-up, no free trial, and no customer account of any kind. Access is limited to authorized Syross Inc personnel using individually issued credentials.

These Terms describe the conditions under which Schutzhund may be used and are published for transparency, including for the social media platforms whose developer APIs Schutzhund connects to.

2. Who may use Schutzhund

Use of Schutzhund is restricted to employees, contractors, and officers of Syross Inc who have been granted an account by a Syross Inc administrator. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Authorization may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

Any attempt to access Schutzhund without authorization is prohibited.

3. Connected social media accounts

Schutzhund connects to social media accounts through the official developer APIs of the relevant platforms, using the standard OAuth authorization flow provided by each platform.

Syross Inc connects only accounts that it owns and controls. Schutzhund is not used to access, post to, or manage accounts belonging to any other person or organization, and is not used to provide publishing services to third parties.

Each connection is authorized explicitly by a Syross Inc administrator, who must be signed in to the relevant platform account at the time of authorization. Authorization can be withdrawn at any time, either from within Schutzhund or from the platform's own connected-apps settings.

4. Human review of published content

Content produced with the assistance of Schutzhund, including content generated or drafted with the help of artificial intelligence, is reviewed and approved by a person before it is submitted to any social media platform.

Publishing is additionally gated per channel: a channel must be explicitly enabled for publishing before any content can be transmitted to it. Channels are disabled by default.

Syross Inc is responsible for all content it publishes through Schutzhund.

5. Compliance with platform rules

Syross Inc uses each social media platform's official, documented APIs, within the scope of the permissions granted to it, and in accordance with that platform's developer terms, content policies, community guidelines, and branding requirements.

Schutzhund is not designed or used to circumvent any platform's rate limits, spam controls, authentication requirements, content moderation, or other enforcement mechanisms. It does not automate engagement, does not operate accounts on behalf of other parties, and does not attempt to disguise the origin of published content.

6. Acceptable use

When using Schutzhund, authorized users must not:

  • publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or in breach of any platform's content policies;

  • connect or attempt to connect any social media account not owned by Syross Inc;

  • use Schutzhund to access data beyond what is required for Syross Inc's own publishing and reporting;

  • share credentials, access tokens, or exported data with any third party;

  • interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the tool's access controls or approval workflow.

7. Availability

Schutzhund is internal software provided to authorized users on an as-is basis, with no service-level commitment. Syross Inc may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

8. Intellectual property

Schutzhund, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the property of Syross Inc. No licence to use, copy, modify, or distribute it is granted by these Terms or by their publication.

Content published through Schutzhund remains the property of Syross Inc or its respective rights holders.

9. Confidentiality

Schutzhund contains unpublished content, brand strategy, performance data, and platform credentials. Authorized users must keep this information confidential and must not disclose it outside Syross Inc except as required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syross Inc accepts no liability arising from the internal use of Schutzhund, including for loss of data, unpublished or failed posts, interrupted availability, or indirect or consequential loss.

11. Privacy

Information about the data Schutzhund handles, including data obtained from social media platforms, is set out in the Schutzhund Privacy Policy at https://www.syrossinc.com/privacy-policy/.

12. Changes to these Terms

Syross Inc may update these Terms as the tool changes. The effective date above indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Brunswick.
